ABOUT THE LSTAR CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

The LSTAR Charity Golf Tournament first teed off in 2022 at Riverbend Golf Club, bringing together members and local golfers with a shared commitment to supporting community charities. From the very beginning, the event was built on the idea of combining camaraderie, competition, and meaningful community impact.


Following a highly successful inaugural year, the tournament moved to St. Thomas Golf and Country Club in 2023 and evolved into a rotating golf tour. This new approach allowed participants to enjoy a fresh experience each year, while continuing to raise vital funds for worthy local causes. In 2024, the tour found a new home at Highland Country Club, where it once again attracted strong participation and enthusiastic support.


Over just four years, the LSTAR Charity Golf Tournament has raised an impressive $207,734 for local charities, making a meaningful difference throughout the community. This year, we are proud to return to Highland Country Club with renewed energy and an ambitious goal—to build on past success, raise the bar even higher, and continue creating lasting impact for the charities we support.

About The Golf Course

 Highland Country Club, designed by Stanley Thompson, opened its doors in 1922 as a premier golf course.

 The original design features, including small, well-bunkered greens that predominantly slope from back to front, have been preserved over the years, albeit with a few modifications.
